Race #2 notification

To all of you that can't wait to try the new track. I will put a message on Sunday morning between 4AM and 5AM to let you know our decision on running the race or not. Mother Nature can be pretty hard on us racers. There is a rain date already set to replace a rain out if needed, July 18th. Hope we do not need to use it !!!!! Bill L. our refrig decided to not work once we put it inside so if we race Sunday, no ice pops.(I know now you won't come and you saved all those quarters)
Last forecast we got Saturday rain, Sunday possible scattered showers and then rain again Monday. It seems like Sunday is getting better?

realy wish you would let us know the night befor. I have to travle 4 hours one way because I have to catch a ride. I also have to wait 2 houres after I hear if the race is on befor I can get a ride, or I would have to stay over night 2 hours away from home. This rain realy realy realy realy realy stinks lol

I wish I could forecast the weather but can only check the weathertrack like you. Sorry but will still wait until Sunday morning for the latest news. It does look better all the time for the race.

The weather looks better every time i look!! I hope mother nature gives us a break this year and gives us some good weather!!! I know i am ready to tear it up and have a great time!! Cant wait....see you all there!!!

Just a quick note. We only had a little drizzle parts of the day, it did rain last night but the track only had a little water. I will still let everyone know in the morning. Jim, you are right, every time I check the weather it looks better. Come on Mother Nature give us dirt guys and gals a break.

The weather conditions seem to show cloudy all day with possible (after 5PM) late rain. Cool in the 70's and the track should be perfect. So, the Maine R/C Series Race #2 is on. Please park to the left of the new drivers stand and no parking in the parking lot behind us !

Team Fasttraxx - Great job on the track. You guys out did yourselves. The track was super today. We all had a great time. Heath from Maxximus did a fantastic job keeping the program moving as well. Thanks to all for making it a great day.
