Re: rc truck pulling
I know we do!!! I guess no one wants to try something dfferent. Maybe the world has been brainwashed by the Short Course Virus. After chatting with one of the guys at the hobby shop, sound like Cumberland County may not do anything other than SC off-road next year if. I guess buggy/truggy/monsters are dead for now.... But thats all hear say anyhow. I hate to think of it, but Maybe we need to push people to put 40 series tires on Slashes and run them as monster trucks..... ha ha, I do not think so!!

Re: rc truck pulling
you're right, SC racing is king rite now, although the bigger races still get good turnouts. the trends and times are always changing. bajas are the next thing, i run mine more than any of my other stuff, not much more $$$ then an E revo or nitro buggies?truggies and the performance and reliability is awesome!!!

Re: rc truck pulling
I have never tried a Baja, just eye balled them wondering how fun they were. At this point I dont think i want nitro or gas, maybe someday. I'll just keep my looking at whats treandy and try not to buy into it to late.

Re: rc truck pulling
I'm sure it is, I knew guys that ran weedwacker powered boats, and those were pretty simple.

Re: rc truck pulling
I'm interested, too... building a custom 1.9 scale truck, to haul a 3' trailer... the truck's gonna weigh in around 10lbs, with battery, and an XL-5 esc, and Titan 21t motor, from an E-Maxx, or E-Revo... all rolling on 1.9 wheels, and RC4WD Mud Thrasher tires... will I be able to pull with that, or would I need to build something different? And is a Stampede still considered a monster truck?
