truggy -nitro or electric
im getting ready to pick up a rc8t ce and was wondering how many people will be running electric truggys. im not sure if i want to convert it but am tossing the idea around.i still have alot to learn about electric, but im making progress. just got the whole balancing thing all figured out i bought an ice charger thinking it was all i needed turns out i needed additional balencers. so after this weekend i ended up with 2 because of the type of lipos i have but anyway i like a good challenge. from what i have been reading there should be a good turn out with truggys this year i think between the sc10 and a little more nimble truggy i might be able to work on my driving skills. and plenty of pratice of course.

Talking to different people, I think you will see alot more buggies then truggies this year. I myself just switched to a buggy and I know of atleast 4 more out there.
Did I just talk with you at the shop yesterday??

Re: truggy -nitro or electric
ya that was me at the shop. how are you doing. that balencer works great thanks for the help the mamba system is pretty cool. lol fast little thing. i think i just changed my mind. i might buy the losi 8t 2.0 rtr. i need a box and a good transmitter anyway. i have a rc8 buggy thats why im leaning towards a truggy. i dont think i would ever not have a buggy i love that class. i do agree that the buggy class should have a good turnout this year should be some good times. maybe if i go with the losi i will leave that nitro and convert my buggy

Re: truggy -nitro or electric
Hey bro, why not have a nitro and a electric? It sounds like there will be enough mainers having buggies this year to have a seperate class for each. I know your like me and can't go without at least one nitro

well made up my mind finally i went with an electric conversion for my rc8. was expensive but i think it will be well worth it. also got a new jconsepts body and wing so the rc8 will be a totally new ride this year. should have everything in about a week. COME ON RACE SEASON.

Nice, what do you think about coming down to RC excitment March 7th for the trophy race? Indoor offroad track big enough for 1/8th scale buggies
