hey fellow racers, i just picked up a spektrum dx3s. so far its awesome i have not raced yet. so when i do ill post more in regards to this radio. who else has this radio, whats your opinion.

Great radio, telemetry is nice.
Cheap plastic and workmanship. aux trim rocker switch is broken already.
Push button power switch is better then the dx3r but they should have used the other dx3r components.

I love mine but will be getting the aluminum scroll wheel befor mine brakes BUT ITS THE BEST RADIO I HAVE EVER HAD

yes the dx3s has a week scroll butten my buddy busted his and found an aluminum one for 15.00 on ebay it will never brake again

But i also called horizon hobby and they sent me a kit to fix it no question, not a hard job but there are some hidden screws behind the rubber handles and stickers

Yes it is a warranty issue, but I will wait till the race season ends before I send it in.

But if your running 2 or more trucks I reg 3 trucks and the wheel broke on me it sucked so i have a spare in my box now
