1/8 Ofna LX-1 E-conversion

Been working on this for a while and got it almost ready to unleash its awesomeness

Started life as nitro LX-1 and I just don't do nitro.

I had been building up the MT but decided the buggy would be a better longer lasting, stronger base for the MMM system.

My first set up.....




The battery sat on top of front brace,(seen in pic #2 through the body) wasn't great set up but was able to run it and figure out I did want to continue the build.

Second set up was a little better lowering the COG and a much better set up.
And the diamond plate really looks pretty sweet I think.




Present set up.......

Battery trays on both sides, electronics nice and centered.
Made ESC mount from some 1/8 inch lexan, mounted servo under the front shaft.
I really like this set up, can't wait for my battery packs and motor to show up so I can drive it again.

Hoping I can finish this thing up before summer is done and try it out on one of the tracks you guys run.

Well my new 9XL motor came yesterday.
Super bad news.
My ESC has junked out on me.
I called Castle Creations yesterday, and was told its warrantied, so I need to ship it in and they will fix it free so thats cool.

Another thing thats cool is that meens the 9L motor I have is most likely still good
I'm going to make another motor mount and put it back in the HPI MT and get a MM to run that truck.

I'm pretty happy to find out it will get fixed free and the other motor is still good but, I havnt had an RC for almost 3 weeks, and it will most likely be 2-4 weeks before I get my ESC back from castle creations its looking likeI might not get a chance to get this thing on a track this year

LOL what if your motor is what messed up the esc HMMMMM JK if i can find some time
