My dad just got me a TRX 3.3 today for my 2.5 t-maxx.(4910) Is there anything i should worry about breaking? Spur gear? Tranny gears? Blown diffs? Or anything elec i diddent mention?

Just drop it in and go!! I have had a 3.3 in my 2.5 Maxx for about 2 years now. I even raced it several times this year. You really dont need to upgrade anything to use the 3.3 I have not had any failures related to the 3.3 standard drive train holds up fine.

Is the 3.3 ease to tune compared to the 2.5? Just wondering. Also does any one think its to cold for this time of the year to break in my engin?

I just started breaking it in today. I stoped because it was getting too cold and wouldent stay up to temp even with the head rapped in a towel. Almost got it done. Going to finish it tomorrow. Just two more tanks left for the break in then i will be ready to go! Hopfully i can make it to your house again with it to play on your track. I will call you tomorrow and let you now how it went!

Try some aluminum foil. It will retain the heat better.
