Like the title says Traxxas is now shipping there RTR's with the updated XL-5 brushed ESC .It now has Lipo cut off !!!!Some older stock with no cut off is still available through suppliers ,current shipments from Traxxas has it and just needs to cycle trough Distributors .
This is some thing Traxxas should of done a year ago,but better late than never!
You will be able to tell if the model has it because there is a sticker on the box showing the ESC is updated and the chassie will also have a sticker on it to remind you that it has lipo cut off.
Dealers have known about this for a couple of months but Traxxas waited to do the official roll out until know ,and will make it official in December.
Just to let people know i currently have a Traxxas Slash and Rustlet XL-5 in stock and both have the updated ESC!
