BERWICK CHALLENGE V Empty BERWICK NITRO & ELECTRIC CHALLENGE V......TROPHIES

Post by teamfasttraxx Mon Jul 20, 2009 8:07 pm

There seems to be a big miss understanding about the reason I wanted to split the monster truck class. I thought it would allow more people (not less)to be able to get a trophy. The electric verses nitro is in my mind still a problem because they are not the same(similar maybe-how much time does it take for 3 or four pit stops or to change batteries ????)
If anyone knows me at all, I am in this hobby/sport to have fun and drive/wrench the best I can. Hopefully, everyone will enjoy the hard work that goes into the track and the races we (teamfasttraxx) put on, if this gets to be to big a problem then what is the fun anyway!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, no pot luck...... you come to race not bring food!!!!!
Also, since I had a long hard day, the guy that thought pizza was not filling must not have gone back for more!!
Thanks for listening to my rant

True I did not go back for more but I wanted to give every one a chance to get there 2 pices and was wating for an ok befor I went over and took one of someone elses 2 pices. so by time I looked back it was all gone and that very well could have been my own falt but It was a long hard day and 2 pices just did not cut it. Again Im not saying it was bad or complaining because the pizza was greatand i but I could have gone fo 3 pices ez or 4 . so if there is pizza again thats fine with me im not one to to complan only reason i had said it was not filling is because we were asked if we wanted BBQ or pizza and I picked BBQ an gave my reason . I realy hope you did not think i was complaning if you did im sorry

Hi , this is Herb from 106 Racepark. This will be my 3rd year attending this race. I think last years race went good. Great trophys and the pizza hit the spot.

Have you guys been getting any 1/10 scale nitro trucks running this season?? I brought mine last year but was the only one so i didnt run it.

Hey, yeah I just bought a AE GT2 1/10th nitro truck about a month ago. I have already raced it a few times, (including at the Maine RC series) and am still working out the kinks but I absolutely love it. I will be definitely racing it at the Berwick challenge. So it would be cool to have another nitro stadium truck out there cheers Can we say a potential comeback for the 1/10th nitro truck!? Hopefully Smile

    Herb,

We had a decent turnout for 1/10th during the final race of the 2009 Maine Series, I think we had around 10 entries.
Not sure of the break-down......two maybe three nitro's

Hope some of you 106 boys can come out an play on the 23rd.

Most tracks put the gas trucks with 1/10 scale electric. It happens alot since 1/10 nitro has such an unpredictable turnout. Sometimes 7 or 8 will show up other times none.We have atleast 4 or 5 gas trucks every week at 106 so we are able to run them seperate.

I know of 2 of us that are heading your way on the 23rd for sure and there are atleast 4 or 5 other people that are planning on it to. We all run gas truck so maybe there will be enough to seperate us.
