Team Durango Northeast Indoor Championships, Oct 27-28

Hello all,

Things are shaping up for the Team Durango Event. With 70 class entries so far we are looking forward to a great event with Travis and Team Durango.

I want to thank all the racers that have help with some of the changes going at Maximus for the fall/winter indoor season.

We are starting the Team Durango layout on Thursday Oct 18 and hope to be racing on it Saturday Night Oct 20th.

A bunch of us are heading up to GLT this coming Sunday Oct 14 so if you are looking to get in one more out door race join us for Octoberfest @ GLT.

Just got news that Carson Wernimont will be joining Travis as they scout for the next Team Durango northeast driver/rep.

We did it... new layout in 48 hours!

Best of all the racers loved it Wednesday night...

Over 110 pre registered racers for this weekend. Two of the countries best racer attending. Without a doubt this is going to be a blast!

Don't forget someone attending this race will be offered a chance to become Team Durango’s next Northeast driver/rep.

we have the long john race at unity sat just wondering if we head down straight from there and miss first round races sat night if we could still race sun and if any practice going on sat night after 1st round heats thanks m.g.

Yes, you can just race on Sunday and the track will be open Saturday night till midnight for practice.

I would like to put out there a BIG THANK YOU to Heath, Pete an the crew at Maximus for A Great Weekend of Racing. I would also Like To Thank the 2 Darango Factory Rep's Carson an Travis. Great guys an boy can they get lucky on there driving .

Team Durango Indoor Championships :: Maximus R/C Raceway

This past weekend Team Durango’s Travis Amezcua and Carson Wernimont visit the east coast and dominate the SCT classes at Maximus R/C Raceway.

With more then just racing on their minds Amezuca and Wernimont closely observed 153 entries throughout the weekend as they scouted for a driver to represent Team Durango in the Northeast.

Racers from all over New England attended with hopes that their driving skills and trackside etiquette would be noticed as they competed on Maximus’s indoor offroad clay track.

Prior to the start of the mains Amezcua and Werimont announced that they would like Robbie Leonard of New Hampshire to join Team Durango as their newest driver in the Northeast. “I was in the pits wrenching on my truck when I heard my name, my foot is in the door now” Leonard told Maximus owner Heath Jackson.

Another highlight of the event was the raffling of three new DESC210r kits. Eight-year-old Zach Brassil of New Hampshire was awarded the first kit. Casey Rettke of Massachusetts graciously passed the second kit to a new younger racer. Lastly, Chad Morisette representing GLT from Northern Maine was awarded the third kit.

Team Durango showed their true race heritage this weekend as they mingled and sharing knowledge with the local racers at Maximus R/C Raceway in York, Maine.
