help!1 16 summit
my new traxxas 1 16 summit brushed is making a noise and i can't figure out what it is.it sounds like its coming from the motor but it has not affected the performance. it is kind of like a grinding sound(like a rock might be in the brushes?). or a dirty motor. if this is right shoot me a PM so i can know what to do.

Re: help!1 16 summit
It also could be a "dry" bushing in the motor.Take the motor out clean it and re-oil the bushings on BOTH ends of the motor.
The bushing near the output end gets over looked some times when it comes to oiling the bushing because they are not taken out of the truck when done.
If it still does it then you may have something stuck in the motor.

Re: help!1 16 summit
Hi there I have a 1/16 summit. You need to shim your rear diff, it's pretty much a must to stop it from clicking. Extremely common. You need to get team associated shims of a specific size and put 1 2 or 3 of them in, until it stops clicking. I also did the front on mine as well.
Here is the tread that tells you which ones to get exactly.

Re: help!1 16 summit
Did you use grease or oil on the bushings. If you did you grease ,it should of been oil and make sure it doesn't get into the motor.
Check all your connections going to the motor and make sure they are like new condition and they have good connection.(make sure the the connectors are pushed in to each other all the way).
