Novarossi P5XS .21 Race Engine
[FMSRX21P5XS]
The P5 is the standard which other .21 engines are measured against. This engine has a very strong bottom end, and a good top end as well. It is very easy to tune and maintain.
This is the new updated P5 (P5XS). This engine has a standard crank, which gives it a smoother throttle response than the original P5 (still has tons on the bottom end, however). Also comes with a 2-needle carb, and improved fluid dynamics in the case. The P5XS includes a new larger cooling head for more efficient cooling and running.
Runs best with an 086 or JP2 pipe, and using Novarossi #6 or O'Donnell 99 plugs. Use 30% nitro fuel.

Re: D8T engine choices?
FOR RACING Stay with a .21, I prefer Novarossi based engines, but there are others that are good also, good fuel milage with a .21 smooth powerband,I bet you will be faster with a .21 overall per lap than with a big dirt schredder .28-32 engine you will need less pit stops alsoevilwarhead wrote:Whats the best motor to put in the d8t?

Re: D8T engine choices?
Which would be better the turbo plug version or the standard??? And i already have a JP3 pipe and i would run 20% cuz i don't want to have two different types of fuel.

Re: D8T engine choices?
Well I like the turbo plug because theres no washer to worry about,,they supposedly seal better but thats hard to say ,in theory I guess they would. The turbos are more money to buy and I dont think they last any longer ,and probably if you burn out a plug and dont have a spare most of your buds wont have one
