Maybe now that we have a forum serving Maine that can be promoted by all the local hobby shops maybe we can have a Crawling comp,,something statewide, theres plenty of people that have them in Maine,I bet if you ask the shops they do sell some of them

i've gotten outa the comp seen to as badmonkey has my last comp rig now. i'm more into the scale 1.9 stuff right now but if we got enough people for a series it wouldnt take much convincing for me to build up a new comp rig Twisted Evil

I know this isn't a "new" thread, but are people still trying to organize a meet, or schedule get togethers? I'm not looking to take on that responsibility, but I am interested in minor crawling. I hand built mine, and have no winch, or desire to mount a winch... just looking to enjoy the hobby with others, and heard sone chatter about a gathering @ GLT, in the middle of the month, here.

Awesome... rebuilding my leaf packs, and getting new wheels this weekend... Learned that VXL power, and single leaf springs yield broken leaf springs, and blown driveshafts. That, and my wheel nuts keep loosening, under power, so I already spun 3 hexes out of my beadlocks. Should be able to get the 1.9 Mudslingers, by the meet:) More broken stuff to follow... Sweet!!

Bill, thanks to you, and everyone else iinvolved, for putting on today's scale meet. I wish my servo held up better. It was my first time doing any real crawling, and I really am hooked. You all have good advice, especially for "the new guy", and I'm looking to swap over to 3 and 4 link suspension, to better handle the trails. Thank you, again, and I hope to be back up and running, soon Smile
