2009 Fall Classic

Well our fall classic is creeping up on us.This is the info i have come up with so far. The only thing that may change is the start time. Right now we have racing starting at noon but we are thinking of dropping to 1030 or 11am. I will update here as soon as the decision is made final. We usual have a very large turnout for this race and get alot of prize support from alot of different manufacturers.

9AM Track open for practice
9am- 10am Signups
10:15 drivers meeting
10:30am Racing Starts

$25 First Entry, $10 Additional Entries

Free Food and Soda

A Main 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for the following classes:
Mod Truck
Nitro Stadium Truck
Slash
Monster Truck
Truggy
8th Scale Buggy

B Main 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for the following classes:
Slash
8th Scale Buggy


Other B-Main Trophies will be ordered and mailed to winners.



No Trophies for C-mains and below.

The 19th is gonna creep up on us fast. We did lower the start time to 10:30 am because of alot of interest in this event.

Hi Herb,,whats the slash class,,is it all corr trucks or just slash? sc-10s allowed?

The rules on our website are not up to date. We made them rules when there was only the Slash spec class. Now we have modified our rules a little . Basically any shortcourse truck with the esc and motor it came with. The only other exception is we allow 17.5 brushless systems. 2 cel lipo limit or 6 cell NIMH packs. You must use the stock kit tires and no cutting of tires. So we do run all shortcourse trucks together and if your rig doesn't fit with in our rules you would run in 2wd mod truck.Basically we are trying to follow the same guidlines as other nearby tracks.

We have had a couple of SC10's running with our Slash trucks and when running the stock motors it all comes down to the driver. As a matter a fact a Slash won our spring trophy racing against a SC10 or two. Also our night points series that we just finished was also won by a Slash and there was atleast one 17.5 brushless SC10 competing about every week.

Currently we have 2 mod Slash running and ive been running my SC10 with 10.5 Tekin system. So there has been some talk of getting enough interest of a mod shortcourse class.So far the 3 of us have just been running against mod trucks.

Ok thanks for the info,I have a slash but its got a ton of use on it and the motor is about to puke,my other truck is a sc-10 with a 17.5 brushless but the stock rear wheels stripped out the cross so allthough the tires are like new the wheels are junk, I went and bought the bowties for corr trucks,they are the tire of choice at our local track here and are legal at the other 2 track I race at. I'l be glad when all the tracks settle on a set of rules

I agree , it would be nice to see a set of rules that all of our New England tracks go by. With about every company jumping on the short course ban-wagon and so many after market companies producing new things every other week its definetly tough to keep up on rules. Believe me we have had our share of rule issues and unhappy people this summer at 106.

I guess im not to fond of to many rules myself, I sold my Slash and my SC10 is run in the mod truck class when i race it.

Just a couple of days away and the weather forecast is looking cool , clear , and sunny.

Who's in for 1/8 Buggy? I'm working on coming but not 100% yet.

I'll be running my 1/8 scale and the E Revo. I'm pretty sure the Gomes boys will be running 1/8 scale and some guys from RCE.

Come on everyone .... how about racing at 106 racepark .... great drivers and a pretty good truck painter (also a great driver) .... Saturday thats tomorrow ..... any questions from Maine guys , give me a call
