    First Annual Thanksgiving Eve 50 Lap Shootouts this Wednesday! Weatherman is now calling for rain not snow. We will have trophies for top 3 in all mains and weekly payouts for top 3 in A Mains . Regular weekly racing pricing.  Doors open at 5pm and practice to start immediately.  We will start heats at 6:30.  We'll try to get going right on time so we can wrap up and be done at a reasonable time.  I would also like to try one round of controlled practice by class before heats start - 5 minute practice per class from 6:10 to 6:30.  Concession stand will also be open Wednesday night  -Starting with hotdogs, chips, snacks, soda, water, coffee, popcorn, and some other items.  Pizza slices and hamburgers coming soon too.

    Big Thank You to all the racers that turned out for our First Annual Thanksgiving Eve 50 lap shootouts.  We had a fantastic turnout and had full classes for Rally Car, SCT, 2wd Buggy Late Model and we had a Novice SCT class for our younger racers.  Results and photos are updated to the web site now - www.tjrcraceway.com.  

    We will be racing oval exclusively for the time being.  We are working on some upgrades including widening the front and back straightaways, banking the turns, removing the elevation for better line of sight coming out of turn 2, adding back straightaway wall and more.  These features will be integrated over the next couple of weeks.

    We will be racing Sunday December 1st.  Regular race day.  Doors open at 9am and practice starts immediately.  We will get heats started by 10:30 so we can be done racing by 2pm sharp.  Track will remain open following racing for practice.

    There is interest in a ladies league race.  We need 4 or more trucks to run this class.  If there is a lady in your life that would like to try it out, bring an SCT truck for her Sunday.  Class rules will be 2wd SCT stock truck (12T or 17.5 Brushless) battery in stock location, stock original suspension and chassis, no upgrade kits.  Open tires and wheels.  We will also run a Novice SCT class for younger and first time racers.  Same rules.
