Figured I needed to build a Nitro eater.

Looks pretty normal, a sleeper some may say.

Pull off the top and you find a Mamba Monster Max, and a feageo 9l and two 5000mAh Lipo's.

Actually the diffs are doing pretty good so far, I replaced them with new ones when I first got it.
Aluminum diff cases and e-savage diff gears will go in it soon.

I havnt had a chance to try out the lipo's yat since I didnt get the plugs soldered on them, and get them charged up until it was dark and its been raining all day today.

Heres a few test vids running 3300mAh 6cell nimh packs.

These vids are from before I got my 2.4 radio and it was glitching like crazy and had very little range.
I guess MMM andAM radios don't get along well What a Face

Well the first run with it blew up a tire, and destroyed the rear diff gears.
I've never seen a tire blow like this before.

    HPI Nitro MT Conversion Picture547
Shot that chunk of tire about 25 feet in the air ""shudders"" man what a bang it made.

Second run, broke a dogbone, ran it 2wd for a while.
Got MT2 output cups, axle cups, and dogbones and new properly shimmed diff gears in it now.
Have run it around 6 times now with zero problems its a beast and I've gotten to where I can handle the power now via esc settings and learning what it will do.

I'm super happy with it, just a few more upgrades and it will be ready for about anything.
If you wanna drive it come on over I'll let ya Twisted Evil

Was nice today so I figured I'd see how this thing did on lipo's.
I was beating it pretty good loving the new found power and agility from losing so much weight.
Well I knew I would need to upgrade the centers to MT2 before long well before long is now.
Well the heck with it I was only like 10min into the first run on the lipos and really wanted to see how long it would go before hitting the cut-off in front wheel drive so I kept pushing it.
Was still having a blast doing speed runs but 10min more goes by and I started hearing a funny noise. I looked it over and figured out what it was and was like the heck with it too late now to worry about it.

What was I hearing you may ask lmao.

lmao ok fronts are a little bald rite, worse Laughing

Oh well was fun, I was basicly testing out the lipo's and they did great the packs were still at 7.54volts each so I think I could get close to 45min easy on one charge.
