Foam Tires for Slash!!!!!!

Hello all,

I had some time this week to play around and make some foam tires. Why foam you ask...
Well the tires out there were just not cutting it for me so I wanted to try some different stuff.

I tried making rubber tires, but that didn't work out to hot. So I made these nice and squishy foam tires and I must say I'm pretty impressed.

I ran the tires for 2 full battery runs and there holding up good. There soft enough to not chatter and really flex on corners..

Now I know the colors are not the best but I wanted to match...

Are you guys running these at Old Cedar Speedway?
Is JDM Hobbies going to be selling them?

We are still testing to make sure that the foam compound will work at OCS. I'm hoping to get up to OCS on June 6th to test them out.

If they work like I'm hoping they will, JDM Hobbies will sell them I'm sure of it.

Most likely the stock color will be black, but I can make almost any color.
