that depends on gearing and batteries mostly. i have never owned a stock sc10 since mine was a kit and was brushless from the day i built it. but i'm gunna say the sc10 is prolly a lil faster but both the stock slash and sc10 motors are junk and burn up way to easily

yeah.. When I got my first Slash I plugged a venom 2s 5400mah without changing anthing on the truck. wrong idea! I was running it in my basement which is concrete, and there was a lot of tire spin. It roasted the large tooth pinon gear and melted the small pinon gear. it did that after only two packs.. I haven't tried an sc-10 but I think I'm going too..

in stock form, i have 2 point series on the same "water brake in" motor, still running strong in the a main, with a smc 5000 lipo, but there are guys that have bad luck with their motors, monstly when you run the larger 23 tooth, i run the 18,

I have had the 23 on mine since new, it has quite a few hours on it ,ran it today side by side with a brand new slash same everything they both ran the same speed for nearly 40 mins on a paved oval ,both had 25c 5000mah lipos

i met the 23 tooth at maximus , the track isnt open enough to spool the motor up, i think it lugs the motor, maybe i am right maybe i am wrong, but that is what we see kill motors
