there is a track in saco that i might be able to use. it is a blue groove set up that they use for racing lawn mowers on. there is also a track in buxton that would take some work to get it up and going but i know it can be used.

Gee I would think if you wanted to run a Baja on an oval you would just go to the track in gardner thats allready running. Its a paved oval that runs on a regular schedule,,the tracks all built its very nice with a huge covered drivers stand and nice people there and theres usually 10 or so bajas there

the track in pittston is a first class track with a great setup. my work schedule doesn't always allow me to get up there on saturday nights. i was just trying to get something a little closer to race on from time to time.

is it possible to set up one of those locations up for off road?? i know a few local guys that would be all over that!! it wouldn't take much, baja's tend to do most of the work! Very Happy

i can check with the owner of the land in buxton, that would be the easier one to do it with. i have access to some epuipment to help make it an off-road set up. i will post back on here after i get his thoughts on letting us do that.

update on the track in buxton. the owner of the land is ok with us using the track to run the 1/5th scales on. it would probably have to be cleaned up and used as an oval for a little bit to make sure there is going to be enough people wanted to use it before any jumps or anything could be added to it. let me know what you guys think and about how many people would be interested in helping to get it up and going and how many would like to use it. thanks
