If enough SCB show up to make a class,i will run them .Need at least 4 to make a class.
As long as the nitro 4x4 is 1/10th scale i will allow it ,only in weekly Sunday racing.I would not allow it at any trophy race such Triple crown ,Money Madness race and Maine SCT tour series are examples.Please know this will be exception .Normally i try to keep nitros and electrics separated as much as possible.

As of today my AMB/MYLAPS decoder has the new 4.3 firmware update.That means that ALL AMB/MYLAPS pt will work on my system including the new 3-wire rc4 mylaps pt.
Downside is clone transponders will not work,so if you own a PTX orMTX clone pt ,it will no longer work on my system.This will be happening to all track that use a amb/mylaps decoder system over time.Not all track have done it ,but they will have no choice if they want the new 3-wire rc4 pt to work.
Owners of clone transponders should contact Mylaps .They are offering a trade in for a Mylaps pt.(clone pt+$39 ,i believe is the trade in offer )please contact them to make sure.

I would like to say Thank You to Sean an the guys that got the track together. It was a great day of racing. It was Awsome to get back outside .

Track was great!! Fast and stayed in great shape all day despite the cold and wind. Had almost 50 entries. Good car count in all classes with a B Main in 4wd SCT.

Thank you to Heith, Ron and Luke for the help this past weekend! I won't be able to make it this coming weekend unfortunately. See everyone in a couple of weeks.

I couldn't agree more with Kevin, 1/10 4wd buggy is going to be my new favorite class! So much fun! It would be great to see few more out there! Hope to see everyone Sunday for opening day.

I picked up a dex410 w/a 7.5 LRP and have to agree that the 1/10 4wd buggy's are amazing to drive. I'm still having trouble w/heat tho. Been all over the gearing, even tried a 8.5 tekin because the LRP's are known to run hot but still can't nail it. I'm starting to think it's the carbon chassis not dissipating the heat like a aluminum chassis would.

I put 4 1/4" holes in my body which helped reduce temps in my 410.. I run a 6.5 Trakpower so I can't really help with gearing...

A heat sink might help, or gear down a bit. Not sure my b44.2 w/tekin 6.5t hasn't cracked 120 yet. Also check for excessive resistance in he drive train or pinion mesh?

I have to agree! I had so much fun last weekend driving my 1/10 4x4! It is already my new favorite class. These little buggies are a blast to drive! Fast, handle great, go exactly where you point them and much more forgiving than 1/8 buggy (probably helps that you have twice as much track to work with to recover from mistakes. )

As far as the heat issue im only running a castle 4600kv and had to gear up a couple teeth on the pinion to keep up with all these guys running 6.5 turns and im only coming off the track between 90-110 after 7 minute heats/mains.

Everything has been disassembled and double checked for binding, bored holes in the body, geared it from 20/87 - 26/87 thinking it was under geared at one point. I'm really thinking it's the carbon fiber chassis. Even tho it sounds minimal, The motor sits right up tight to the chassis on these Dex410's and the guys w/aluminum chassis' are coming off w/the whole chassis plate pretty damn warm like it's acting like a huge heat sink. I'm gonna order one and hopefully have it together to run w/u guys for the first Triple Crown! Thats one of the other things I love about these Durango buggies, they're wicked easy to work on.
