NEW YEAR DAY RACE -------------
I'm looking to get a rough head count for Wednesday 1-1-14 racing. I need to have a decent commitment to put the race on and I have already heard from a pretty large group that DO want to race. Here is the format I'm proposing - 75 lap races for SCT and Buggy Late Model, 50 laps for Novice and Rally Cars (Rally can not go much past 50 laps without battery change). Trophies for the top 3 in A Main plus $17 gift coin for first, $10 gift coin for Second, $7 gift coin for third and special award for TQ in each class including Novice. Entry Fee - $25 first class, $15 second class - no charge for third or more classes (Members will be $20 and $12) Novice (15 and younger)$10. Rental Race $48. Transponder rental is still $10. Doors open and practice starts at 3:00pm and races will start no later then 4:30, hope to start closer to 4:00. I will be getting registrations as soon as people arrive to get that process going quicker. Top 3 will be teched for this race. SCT is 17.5 brushless or 12T brushed - any speed controller - we do not tech for blinky. Rally Car is a spec class and will be teching for spec rules. 8 car A Main with 2 bump ups for B and C Main as needed.
