Maine RC Series 2011

We are sorry it has taken us so long to post anything about the 2011 series. This is what we have planned as of now.

Race 1: June 12th @ Cumberland RC(Portland)
Race 2: June 26th @ Sparetime Hobby(Litchfield)
Race 3: July 10th @ TBD

As of now the classes for 2011 will be 1/8 Truggy, 1/8 Buggy, Stock SC, and 4wd SC. We hope to add a 5th class. We are just not sure what will be popular this year. Lets hear what you think. If you have any questions or comments please let us know!

jim how about a SCT open class so we can put some horsepower in these things , or a baja class . i can bring 4-5 guys ! once you go baja, you dont go back cant wait!!!

The 2wd core trucks is a stock class the 4wd core truck class is a modified class!!!

my bad, i meant 2wd SCT open class . was popular last year @ a couple of big races. just wondering??? come on spring

What about Monster Trucks? The Mod or Open class for SC Trucks would be great.

Are 1/8 scale nitro and electric gonna be run together same as last year?

Any idea on where the 3rd race will be yet?

What will the fifth class be? 2WD sc open? Monster trucks? Let us know what to bring.

Stock and Modified 4x2 Core trucks plus Modified 4x4 core trucks

What time does racing begin?

What is the entry fee $ (1st class + each additional)

Is there any practice at the Portland track during the week or is the track only open for use during racing?

The Track Opens at 8am and Heats start at 11am..The Registration is $30 for the 1st class and 20 for each additional class

So is there any practice available during the week or only on race days?

Just got text from Pablo. Racing canceled tonight. Indoor Karting closed, so no power. Ryan is getting generator for Sunday, so sounds like 1st Mainr RC Series race is a go.

We will be having a modified SC class for the Series!!!!

Due to circumstances out of our control, we will be having to pospone race #1 of the series. The 1st race will be held at Sparetime Hobby on the scheduled date June 26th. We are very sorry for the inconvenience!!!! We will let everyone know when we have some information about the race.

Hey jimbo so do you know will there be a make up date or just one less race to the series.

Hey all Sorry for my Delay in Getting back to the Forum. Long story Short Cumberland rc has is relocating, We will be hosting our Series Event on July 10th. I'll have more info posted in the next week...

Race #1 of the Maine RC Series is this Sunday the 26th ay Sparetime Hobby in Litchfield. I hope you all have your gear ready. We have made a lot of changes to the track from last year. The track will be open before 8AM. If anyone has any questions please call 207-582-0077. See you all there!
