baja wanted
I'm interested in a baja/ other 5th scale. Something I can run @ old Cedar Speedway, and do some light bashing with. I'm not rich, but can weld, and have a decent MIG welder. I'm more than willing to barter, even if only to talk down the price. I'm not a kid in suburbia hell, I'm in my 30's, and own a farm with acreage. I don't care if it's not in the "best" of conditions, nor do I care about the brand of the vehicle. I want a 5th scale, to race at old cedar, and can make my own nerf bars. Call/ text me @ (207)620-2081, pm me, or reply to this post. Thank you.

Re: baja wanted
I'm working on a couple leads for you.
I know of one for sale but I'm pretty sure he wants cash.
Comes with a mod body (good shape), race tires and pretty much set up for asphalt.
Trust me once you run it on the track you won't ever want to bother with the dirt!

Thats fine, some people like to race and some like to bash. I have watched a few bajas go on pavement and they are quite impressive,, and so is the old cedar track in PittstonRonbo wrote:dont need a track plenty of sand pits around and theres going to be a track in buxton

Re: baja wanted
Much more fun having organized racing and your stuff isn't chewed up from grit!
To each his own I guess but my baja will never see the dirt again! When I go bashing I'm usually broke in 10 minutes when I go to Old Cedar I run all day, just saying!
Besides there is a bunch of great guys there and the track is a blast.
I heard they started a box stock baja class this year.
That's good for me cause those modified baja's are bad fast!

Ronbo,
I think one of the guys that races at Old Cedar is one of the guys that bashes with you guys in Buxton. Ask him about the track. I think his name is David or Donald or something like that.

Re: baja wanted
good day gents, you all make good points, to each his own... ive seen the bajas go on dans track , preety cool. but if you prepare for a day of bashing like you would for a day of racing , you can run all day + and still have a blast!~! if someplace came about for off road racing , there would be lots of interest, after attending bajafest a couple of years ago, offroad is king and allways will be!! roost on

Re: baja wanted
I'm not sure about that Bajamike. Out west the baja's are racing on asphalt on a tour with the 1/4 scale cars and rumor has it there is no baja fest this year. If Old cedar makes the box stock class box stock they should be easy to take from the dirt to the asphalt. I raced there a couple times but being new to rc and really new to baja's I got spanked bad!The modified baja's they run there are wicked fast! I will try it again in the stock class and hopefully do better this summer. Anyone heard anything about the rules for the stock baja class at Old Cedar?
