Trueing tires..Ohh Brothahh..haha...It will gain atleast 3-4 Laps with smaller tire Diameter, the WGT tires will last a long time so dont worry about tire wear. The shop has a sweet HUDY Lathe w/carbide bit for anyone that purchases tires at the shop.

World GT Cars are Popping up everywhere! It's Great to see the excitement building for the Class to start up. After a conversation I had with a fellow racer and WGT being a Brand new Class in the State (to my knowledge anyways) there are a few things I want to address. Basicly with the current surge for the kits from Calandra the x 10 LE kits became back ordered until 12/30/12. Calandra offers 2 Different WGT Kits the X10 LE (lipo Edition) Part #1712 and THE X10 Pro Kit Part #1710.2 These 2 Kits are both X10's however very different, plus one is more than the other.

The X10 Pro kit has some cool features in which affects the cost difference between the two kits. This kit is built for Sub C cell batteries (4 or 6 cell) or standard 2S lipo Packs. It uses a Larger Center shock to handle the weight of the heavier battery and the X Bracing above the Battery has 6 Mounting posts to keep the chassis tweaking due to it's bottom load battery feature also uses shorter suspension links. Basicly what all this means is the Pro Kit is built for the bigger batteries(sub C cells or 2s Lipo)

The X10 LE (lipo Editon) uses may of the Same features however it designed specific for 1S lipo racing. It does not have the bottom battery load system and uses a Smaller Center Shock because of the lighter battery, the x brace above the Battery uses a 4 post mount because the center of the Chassis is not fully cut out it does not need the be reinforced to prevent chassis tweaking. Also it's a lighter overall kit. So what all this I'm saying is the LE kit is the built specific WGT for 1s racing which we are running.

I just would hate to see someone get a brand new Kit and it not perform to what they want. If you are getting a kit take my personal advice and get a x10 LE Kit Part #1712. I am not attempting to steer anyone to buy from any Particular shop I and talking from a position from one racer to the next.

Dont Forget we are also Running Tamiya Mini Coopers!!! M-05's CHeck the rules package it's very simply and a cost controlled class and probably the funnest onroad class!
