I would like to add that we do not offer a "Slash" class anymore as there are now several companies coming out with short course trucks and if you keep them separate than you would end up with 3 or 4 different classes all using the same basic design. We now call this the "Short Course Truck Class". You have the Associated SC-10, Losi will have a truck shortly(next week ?) and we understand HPI will have one also. The short course class will have stock and modified divisions. Stock is anything can be used that would meet ROAR standards, either brushed or brushless. Modifieds will be anything above stock items. Most motors that come with these trucks when new will be allowed as a good 27T Pro stock motor is usually faster. For more information go to the race site at www.evolutionrcraceway.com.

Just looked at all the pictures of the track from snow to now, looks real nice. Glad you hit the site today. Do you allow people out on the track during the day or just race events?

    Thanks

We allow practice any day the shop is open .We get $5 for the day to practice. On race day people who are not racing can practice up to 2 hours before race time. That two hours are for paid racers to practice, before race time.

Just so you know ,we use the I-LAP infrared lap counting system .This system is similiar to the TrackMate system you bought .These systems work flawless and are great systems to start with .The AMB is good system but it may not be worth the added expense right off .See how many racers you get and if you can get more through the season . Then see if it is going to be worth it to buy a AMB.If you are look into buying a used AMB ,just make sure it is the newer AMBRC3 system.
We may be switching to the AMB for next season ,but if we don't we are still very happy using the I-LAP system.
When a racer tells you have to get a AMB because most tracks use them and its a better system.Just remember AMB has been out for over 25 years and the infrared system have only been out for about 5 years .AMB has at least a 20 year head start .Also most racer have no clue on how much a AMB system cost ,so its easy for them to say "just buy the AMB".
In the end both system will give you the same thing ,accurate lap counting and lap times.
