This is a great cause. Everyone in the world knows someone or will know someone who deals with cancer. The Jimmy Fund is helping in conjunction with the Dana-Farber cancer institute to find a cure. This will be a great event. Hope so you all there. cheers

In 1/10th scale we will have the king of the race. This is something the do in full size SC racing. The top 3 buggies,SC stock,SC mod and SC 4wd mod will compete in one race. The classes will be staggered accordingly. Example a 2wd buggy will have a 25second head start on a 4wd mod SC. The winner will get the trophy as king of the race.

    Racers,
We would like to start to Pre-register for the Race for a Cure.
    First Class is $20
    Second, third, etc. $10
    The classes are as follows:
    1/8 4wd Buggy
    1/8 Truggy
    1/10 2wd Buggy
    Sc stock 2wd
    SC Open or Mod 2wd
    4wd SC Open
    5th Scale Baja

To pre-register send me a pm from this forum or email me at mk900rr@metrocast.net
    Here is what I need
    Name
    Classes
Personal Transponder Numbers (if easily obtained)
    Frequency if other than DSM

This will speed up registration at the track and give me a heads up on how many pizzas to bring for lunch.

Let's fill up the sheets and find a CURE.

    Well,
The registrations are rolling in. There are a number of you who "say" they will be there but have not signed up. Will there be one racer that will enter all seven classes? So far the most is 4 by the famous Ricky Bobby Shepard and Mike I need to find him a nickname Lapointe.
I think some of the legendary racers can pull this off like:
    "Funny" Uncle Ron
Jim "yellow trucks are always fast" Lawrence
"Team Associated Kevin" Formally "Traxxas" Kevin
Who has the junk to pull the 7 classes? We shall see. lol!
